Early Graders Network Seeks Partnership with Right to Play to Enhance Foundational Learning in Ghana

Mr. Frederick Adu-Gyamfi, the acting Executive Director of Early Graders Network, recently met with Mrs. Josephine Mukakalisa, the Country Director for Right to Play in Ghana. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss potential collaborations and partnerships focused on improving foundational learning for children across the nation.

Held at the Right to Play offices in Accra, the meeting centered on creating innovative educational strategies that combine the expertise of both organizations to foster engaging and effective learning environments for young learners. Both leaders shared insights into the challenges and opportunities within Ghana’s educational sector, particularly on foundational learning.

Mr. Adu-Gyamfi emphasized the importance of laying a strong educational foundation for children, which can significantly influence their future academic and personal success. He proposed integrating Right to Play’s experiential learning models with Early Graders Network’s educational programs to create a more holistic approach to early childhood education.

Mrs. Mukakalisa expressed enthusiasm about the proposed partnership, highlighting how Right to Play’s methodology, which uses play-based learning to educate and empower children, could be effectively merged with Early Graders Network’s programs. She noted, “This collaboration represents a dynamic convergence of our complementary strengths and is a promising step towards transforming foundational learning in Ghana.”

Both organizations agree that the early years of education are crucial for setting children on a path to success and are committed to developing programs that are not only educational but also fun and engaging for children.
